Hello, my name is Jordon and I am a photographer and videographer from Tampa, Florida. 

I studied mass communications at the University of South Florida along with women's and gender studies. This education has given me the tools to produce videos, photographs, and written articles of high quality and has given me a more complete understanding of social justice issues. Currently, I am obtaining my MA in digital journalism and design from the University of South Florida: Saint Petersburg. I am comfortable with any video camera, DSLR, mirrorless camera, or action camera. I have worked with Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and GoPro cameras for a variety of projects both creative and journalistic. I am also trained in, and proficient with, Adobe Premiere Pro, including some Red Giant and other plugins. I frequently use Adobe After Effects for specialized tasks and have a serious passion for not only the task of editing video but also the pursuit to improve my editing skills.

During my undergraduate degree, I worked at an audio and video recording studio. I filmed music videos, promotional videos, live shows, and carried out photoshoots. While there, I also had the opportunity to learn the basics of audio editing in Avid Pro Tools. To create videos, I used a variety of equipment including DJI drones, camera cranes, wireless and wired microphones, external audio recorders, shotgun microphones, off-camera lighting, Glidecam stabilizers, camera sliders, and, of course, video tripods and monopods. 

While completing my senior year, I began a video production internship with the Ybor Youth Clinic where I produced promotional and informational videos for the clinic to use on social media. I also coordinated with their Herdfunder team to edit videos and create video bumper images in Adobe Photoshop. 

For the last several years, I have operated as a photographer. I have photographed portraits, couples, graduation, and family sessions as well as promotional sessions for brand ambassadors and models. I edit images using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
